GP earnings

Every GP practice has to publish the mean earnings – the average pay – of the GPs who deliver NHS services there.

The average pay for GPs working in Scott Road Medical Centre in the financial year 2024/25 was £101,261 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 full-time GP and 7 part-time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.

This figure is not a good way to judge GP earnings, and cannot be compared with other practices. The method used takes no account of how much time each doctor spends working here.
