Registering with the surgery
To register with the surgery:
- fill out an online registration form
- ask at reception for a paper registration form, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
You do not need proof of address, proof of immigration status, ID or an NHS number to register.
The online service is designed and run by the NHS, so your personal information is safe.
When you register, it’s helpful to have your NHS number. You can use the NHS website to find your NHS number.
Your named GP
Every patient, including children, has a named accountable GP.
Your named GP makes sure the care you need is coordinated and delivered.
You do not have to see your named GP. You can ask to see any GP or nurse at the surgery.
Registering for online services
Once you have joined, you can use your NHS account or SystmOnline to order prescriptions, check appointments and see parts of your record. See managing your health online.
